Two goals in the last ten minutes saw Chile go down 2-1 to Brazil in their second match of the Sudamericano Sub-17 in Ecuador leaving them with only one point from their opening two matches of the tournament.
With ten minutes to go it looked like La Rojita would get a rare win over Brazil after a diving Ángelo Henríquez header put them ahead in the 73rd minute in their Group B match. In what was an entertaining clash, the Brazilians were never really out of the contest and firstly equalised via an Emerson long range thunderbolt in the 80th minute and then eight minutes later took the lead via a Adryan free kick. The loss leaves Chile third in the group on one point behind Brazil on six points and Colombia on four points. Next up is a clash against Venezeula on Saturday.
