Squad for France friendly announced

Claudio Borghi has announced a twenty-two man squad for the upcoming friendly againstFranceinMontpellieron August 10th. There are no home-based players in the squad with only stalwarts Jorge Valdivia and Humberto Suazo playing outside of Europe. The squad also has a few surprise call-ups including Gerson Acevedo, a midfielder who has recently joined Russian club FC Mordovia Saransk, who have just got promoted to the Russian first division. Joining Acevedo in the squad as one of the other surprises is thirty-two year old Nicolás Cordova, who is currently plying his trade with Brescia.
