Campeonato de Clausura 2011: Round 17 fixtures

The final round of the Clausura season is upon us with important matches at both ends of the table as teams looked to shore up spots in the playoffs whilst others look to avoid joining Ñublense in the Primera B next year.

One of the matches of round is the one that brings it to an end as Audax Italiano hosts league leaders Universidad de Chile. Whilst los azules are untouchable on top of the ladder los italianos will be looking to shore up a top three finish against a team they are more than likely to meet come the playoffs. Arch-rivals Universidad Católica take on La Serena in the first match of the round with a win for either team going a long way to determining their opponents come the first round of post-season action.

Santiago Morning, who are currently sitting in the automatic relegation spot, need a win against a Cobreloa side that will be looking to maintain second spot on the table. Two points behind Unión San Felipe means anything else but a win will see the Recoleta based side join Ñublense in the Primera B next season. Unión San Felipe, who take on Palestino on Sunday, are one of five teams that could be dragged into one of the two relegation spots.
