Campeonato de Clausura 2011: Quarter-final & Promotion fixtures, second leg

The second week of quarter final and promotion action takes place this weekend with all but one of the match-ups in the balance.

After losing 2-6 to Colo Colo at home last week, La Serena will need some a major miracle to progress to the semi-finals in the first match of the weekend. The mathematics are simple for La Serena – win by five goals and with los albos in ominous form of late not even the most fanatically La Serena fan thinks they still have a chance.

Whilst their task is nowhere near as difficult as that of La Serena, Audax Italiano also has an uphill task of sorts as they look to overturn a two goal deficit against Universidad Católica in the second match on Saturday. Sunday sees two games that require the visitors to win by two goals after Cobreloa and Universidad de Chile won their respective matches 1-0 last week against Unión La Calera and Unión Española respectively.

In the promotion playoffs, it is the Primera Division sides with home advantage as the Santiago Wanderers look to capitalise on their 1-0 away win last week against Naval whilst Unión San Felipe will be looking overturn their 1-0 loss to Everton.
