Campeonato de Apertura 2012: Round 10 fixtures

This week sees some important fixtures in the tenth round of the Apertura season with the highlights being Cobreloa versus O’Higgins and Huachipato taking on the up and down Colo Colo whilst Universidad de Chile will be looking to make it six wins in a row when they host Rangers in the final match of the round.

La Serena and Unión San Felipe get the tenth round of the Apertura season underway on Friday night with both teams looking to bounce back from their last start losses.

On Saturday, Santiago Wanderers will be looking to maintain their third position on their table as they host Cobresal, who picked up their first win of the season last week, in the day’s first game. Both Antofagasta and Palestino had important wins last week and they will be both looking to build on that when they take on each other at the Estadio La Cisterna in the afternoon. Copa Libertadores mid-week opponents Unión Española and Universidad Católica both have games on Saturday as they take on Unión La Calera and Audax Italiano respectively whilst Iquique host Universidad Concepción in the day’s other match.

Sunday sees Cobreloa face an uphill task to arrest their recent run of poor form as they host in-form and second placed O’Higgins whilst Colo Colo travel down south to take on fifth placed Huachipato. The round comes to an end with Universidad de Chile hosting Rangers.
