Deportes Copiapó and Deportes Linares have both progressed to a playoff final to see who will play in Primera B next although the manner in which they achieved that result was markedly different. Deportes Copiapó, for their part saw off Transandino 4-0 to take the tie 4-1 on aggregate. Getting on the scoresheet for Deportes Copiapó were Pablo Acum, Pablo Bolados, Matías Sánchez and Joan Henríquez whilst Transandino’s weren’t helped by the fact that they finished the match with eight men on the pitch.

In the other playoff Deportes Linares needed a penalty shootout to see off Iberia after their tie finished at one goal apiece. The team from Linares won the shootout 4-3 after Diego Vallejos had levelled the tie in the 68th minute.
